Boy or Girl? / Nena o Nene?

A lot of you might know by now, but just in case you didn't hear the news, Mac and I are expecting our 3rd child!! On October 6th I found out that I was pregnant and even though it was a surprise, it was a really good surprise. We are really excited. The baby's due date is June 7th. I am 20 weeks pregnant right now and next week we'll find out if it is a girl or a boy. I think it is going to be a girl but we'll see if I'm right after next week. Well there you go. Now you know the news. I'll put up pictures of my growing belly soon.

Muchos de ustedes ya sabran pero por las dudas que no recibieron la noticia, Mac y yo estamos esperando nuestro 3er bebe!! El 6 de Octubre me entere que estaba embarazada y aunque fue una sorpresa, fue una hermosa sorpresa. Estamos muy contentos. Tengo fecha para el 7 de junio. Ahora estoy de 20 semanas y la semana que viene vamos a saber si es nena o nene. A mi me parece que va a ser una nena pero veremos la semana que viene si tengo razon. Bueno ahora ya saben la noticia. Pronto pondre fotos de mi pansa.

Catching up / Poniendome al dia

Hello everyone again!! I'm not dead. I'm still alive!! The reason why I haven't posted anything is that since Mac started school in September he's been taking the computer to school and I don't have a computer at home. Today is Sunday so I decided to take this time to catch up. Since my last post lots of things have happened so I will try to write some of the things now and some later.
Hola a todos denuevo!! No estoy muerta. Todavia estoy viva!! La razon por la que no he estado escribiendo nada es porque desde que Mac empezo la escuela en septiembre se ha llevado la computadora a la escuela y no tengo computadora en casa. Hoy es domingo y decidi tomarme el tiempo para ponerme al dia. Desde lo ultimo que escribi muchas cosas han paso asi que voy a tratar de escribir un poco ahora y otras mas tarde.

09/22/2007 - This is at the BYU women's volleyball game against Colorado State. This same day I went to the football game with Colleen (my mother-in-law) and with the football ticket I could get in the volleyball game for free so I called Lorena to see if she wanted to come with me. We went with the kids. It was a really good game. I didn't stay until the end but it was great. I have been playing volleyball for the intramural with a team that we put up together with some girls from our ward and I really enjoyed it. We only won one game but it was fun, especially because I got to know some of the awsome girls from our ward. I wish I would have taken my camera to one of the games to get a picture of our team.
22/09/2007 - Esto es un un partido de voley de mujeres de BYU contra Colorado State. Este mismo dia fui a un partido de futbol americano con Colleen (mi suegra) y con el mismo ticket del partido de futbol podia entrar gratis al partido de voley asi que llame a Lorena para ver si queria ir conmigo asi que fuimos con los chicos. Fue un partido muy bueno. No me quede hasta el final pero fue buenisimo. Yo estuve jugando voley para los campionatos intramurales de BYU con un equipo que armamos con algunas chicas del barrio de la capilla y lo re disfrute. Solo ganamos un partido pero fue muy divertido, especialmente porque pude conocer y hacerme amiga de las chicas re buenas que hay en el barrio. Me hubiera encantado tener la camara con migo en alguno de los partidos asi hubiera sacado una foto de nuestro equipo.

09/25/2007 - My dad came this day and stayed for 2 weeks. He was here for General Conference and left 2 days later. Mac, my dad and I went to each session of General Conference. We left Lili and John with their Grandma Wilson and we stayed saturday night at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City. My uncle Claudio Zivic, who got called to the First Quorum of the Seventies, spoke at the last session on Sunday. Here are some pictures of my dad's stay. I don't have a lot of pictures because we took all the pictures with his camera and I forgot to upload them on my computer before he left. The first two pictures are from October 1st. My dad, Marta, Lorena, Axel, Melanie, Lili, John and I went to Vivian park in Provo Canyon where we had an Argentine barbeque and it was DELICIOUS!!! The 3rd picture was taken inside of the Conference Center on Saturday, October 6th before Conference began. 25/09/2007 - Mi papa vino este dia y se quedo por 2 semanas. El estuvo aca por la Conferencia General y se fue 2 dias despues. Mac, mi papa y yo fuimos a todas las sesiones de la Conferencia General. Dej amos a Lili y John con su abuela Wilson y nosotros nos quedamos el sabado a la noche en el Hotel Little America en Salt Lake City. My tio Claudio Zivic, quien fue llamado al Primer Quorum de los Setentas, hablo en la ultima sesion del domingo. Aqui hay algunas fotos de cuando mi papa estuvo. No tengo muchas fotos porque sacamos todas las fotos con la camara de mi papa y antes de que el se valla me olvide de ponerlas en mi computadora. Las primeras dos fotos son del 1ro de Octubre. Mi papa, Marta, Lorena, Axel, Melanie, Lili, John y yo fuimos a un parque que se llama Vivian park en el Canyon de Provo donde tuvimos un asado Argentino que estuvo BUENISIMO!!! La tercera foto la sacamos adentro del Centro de Conferencia el domingo 6 de Octubre antes de que comenzara la conferencia.

I Won/Gane

I won, I won, I won!!!! Yeah!! Today when I got home I saw that there was a package at my door. While I was walking towards the door I was thinking...... what is this package doing at my door?I didn't order anything and Mac didn't tell me he ordered something. Then I thought that maybe the mailman put it at the wrong door. When I finally got to the package I read where it was coming from and it said RYKA. The minute I saw it I wanted to shout. There is this company name Ryka and they are giving away 50 pairs of shoes every day for 50 days and I won a pair of running shoes that are sold for $90 but I, of course, got them for free. Now here is the sad part of the story. My shoe size is 7 but it's been a while since I bought a pair of running shoes. In fact the pair of running shoes that I have are the once my mother-in-law gave me for my birthday 4 years ago and those are the only running shoes I have. So when I signed up I put 7 for my shoe size because that is my size for dress shoes and sandals. Today I got the shoes but they are too tight. I should have put 7.5 as my shoe size. I called the company to see if I could change them but they said that I can't. But they also told me that I could go to any sport's store and they can strech them for me. Has anyone ever heard of something like that? If you have, does it work? So today I was so happy that I won but at the same time mad at myself for putting the wrong shoe size because I really need a new pair of running shoes.

Gane, Gane, Gane!!! SI!!!! Hoy cuando llegue a casa vi que habia un paquete en la puerta de mi casa. Mientras estaba caminando hacia la puerta estaba pensando....Que hace ese paquete en la puerta de mi casa? Yo no estaba esperando ningun paquete y que yo sepa Mac no me dijo que el estaba esperando algo tampoco. Despues pense que talvez el cartero se equivoco de casa. Cuando finalmente llegue a donde estaba el paquete, me fije de donde venia y decia RYKA. Cuando vi eso quiso ponerme a gritar de la emosion. Hay una compania que se llama RYKA que estan regalando 50 pares de zapatillas por 50 dias y yo gane un par de zapatillas para correr que se venden por $90 pero yo, por supuesto, las obtuve gratis. Ahora les voy a contar la parte triste de la historia. Mi numero de calzado es 7 pero hace un monton que no me compro zapatillas para correr. En mas, el par de zapatillas que tengo son los que mi suegra me regalo para mi cumpleanos hace 4 anos atras y esos son los unicos que tengo. Asi que cuando me anote para este concurso puse que calzo 7 porque eso es lo que calzo para mis sandalias y zapatos de vestir. Hoy recibi las zapatillas y me quedan apretadas. Tendria que haber puesto que calzo 7.5. Llame a la compania para ver si me las podian cambiar y me dijeron que no pero que si voy a cualquier tienda de deportes me las pueden estirar un poco. Alguno de ustedes escucho de algo asi alguna vez? Funciona? Hoy estaba tan feliz de que gane pero a la vez re enojada conmigo misma por haber puesto el talle equivocado porque realmente necesito un par nuevo.

Sitting up/Sentandose

Surprise, surprise, John is sitting up by himself. Mac and Lili went to the supermarket and I stayed home with John. I really never get time to just be with John so I took advantage of it and put him on the floor so we could play together. While we were playing, I decided to try and sit him and what do you know, he just stayed like that. He is getting so strong! I just love this little guy.

Sorpresa, sorpresa, John ya se sienta solo. Mac y Lili fueron hasta el supermercado y yo me quede en casa con John. La verdad es que nunca tengo tiempo para estar sola con John asi que aproveche y lo puse en el piso y jugue con el. Mientras estabamos jugando decidi sentarlo para ver si se quedaba y se quedo sentado. John cada vez se vuelve mas fuerte! Amo tanto a este bebito.

Cheap Entertainment/Entretenimiento Barato

Why pay for entertainment when I have plenty at home for FREE. John has been laughing a lot lately and today was no exception. It seems like he laughs the most with Lili and she loves to make him laugh. Today I was in the kitchen washing dishes and Lili and John started to laugh really hard. I stopped to see what they were doing and I just had to get the camera. Here it is.

Para que pagar por entretenimiento cuando tengo suficiente en casa y GRATIS. Ultimamente John se ha estado riendo mucho y hoy no hubo excepcion. Se ve que John se rie mas con Lili y a ella le encanta hacer reir a John. Hoy estaba lavando los platos y Lili y John se empezaron a reirse tan fuerte que pare para ver que estaban haciendo y tuve que agarrar la camara. Aqui va

7 Months old/7 Meses

John is 7 months old today. He is so cute! I can't believe he is 7 months already. Time flies! He has been eating solids for a month now and he loves them. He is now 16 LB and 27 and 1/2 inches. These are the foods he's been eating: sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, peas, squash, applesauce, bananas, rice cereal, oatmeal, barley, mixed cereals, and of course...his formula. Once in awhile he will drink some water. He's been trying to crawl. He gets on his hands and knees and bounces back and forth (Mac says: John's just revving-up) but then he gets on the floor and he army crawls. He has also been trying to sit up straight. He is also beginning to say Momma and Papa. Here is a funny video of John chasing Lili while she refuses to share her toys (John is really interested in Lili's slippers). Enjoy it!

Hoy John cumple 7 meses. Es tan lindo! No lo puedo creer que ya tiene 7 meses. El tiempo pasa volando. Ya hace un mes que John esta comiendo solidos y le encanta. El ahora pesa 7.258 kg y mide 69.85 cm. Estas son las comidas que esta comiendo: batatas, zanahoria, chauchas, arbejas, calabasa, manzana, banana, cereal de arroz, avena, cebada, mescla de cereales y por su puesto...su leche en polvo. Una que otra vez toma agua. John ha estado tratando de gatear. Se pone en sus manos y rodillas y se amaca para adelante y para atras pero despues se apoya en el piso y empieza a arrastrarse como un soldadito. Ultimamente John tambien ha estado tratando de sentarse solito. Tambien empezo a decir Mama y Papa. Aqui hay un video de John persiguiendo a Lili mientras que ella se niega a compartir sus juguetes (a John le encanta las pantuflas de Lili). Disfrutenlo!

6th Anniversary/6to Aniversario

Today, Mac and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. In the morning we left the kids with Nelson and Lorena and went to the Provo Temple. After going to the temple, we went to eat at Tucanos ( a Brazilian restaurant). The meat was SO GOOD. I ate 15 pieces of meat and I could have kept on eating but I knew I would feel sick if I didn't stop, so I decided to stop. After lunch we went to the movies and saw "The Nanny Diaries". I really liked it. When the movie was over we picked up the kids and went home, put the kids in their PJs and went on a nice walk all together. We really had a nice day. I am so glad I married Mac. He is a wonderful husband and father. Thank you Mac for these 6 years full of adventures (Mac says: You haven't seen nothin' yet) and I can't wait for the years to come. I LOVE YOU VERY, VERY MUCH! Hoy Mac y yo celebramos nuestro 6to aniversario. A la manana dejamos a los chicos con Nelson y Lorena y nos fuimos al temple de Provo. Despues del templo nos fuimos a comer a un resturante brasilero que se llama Tucanos. La carne estuvo RIQUISIMA. Me comi 15 pedasos de carne. Y podria haber seguido comiendo pero sabia que me hiba a sentir re mal del estomago asi que decidi parar. Despues de comer nos fuimos al cine y vimos la pelicula "El diario de una ninera". Me re gusto. Cuando termino la pelicula nos fuimos a buscar a los chicos y nos fuimos a casa, les pusimos sus pijamas y nos fuimos a caminar todos juntos. La verdad es que tuvimos un dia re lindo. Estoy re contenta de que me case con Mac. El es un marido y padre maravillos. Gracias Mac por estos 6 anos de aventuras (Mac dice que todavia no he visto nada)y estoy ansiosa por los anos que vienen. TE AMO MUCHO, MUCHO! Feliz Aniversario!
