My mom is here / Llego mi mama

Today my mom got here. I'm so excited she is here. I love my mom and she is always so helpful. They are inducing me tomorrow so she will be taking care of the kids. I don't know what I would do if she weren't here. Thank you Mami! I love you so much. I have a cute video of Lili running to her abuela to give her a hug at the airport but I'm having problems uploading it. I will post it as soon as I can figure out what is wrong with it.

Hoy llego mi mama. Estoy re contenta de que ella esta aca. Amo a mi mama. Ella siempre me da tanta ayuda. Mañana me van a inducir y ella va a estar cuidando a los chicos. No se que haria si ella no estuviera aca. Gracias Mami y te amo mucho. Tengo un video de cuando llego mi mama y como Lili corrio hacia ella para abrazarla en el aeropuerto pero estoy teniendo problemas para ponerlo aqui. Lo pondre mas tarde cuando pueda ver que es lo que esta mal con el video.

It Is Over / Se Acabo

I am so happy to say that today, May 21st, 2008, my battle with immigration ended. Today thanks to help from senator Hatch's office I was able to attend an Oath Ceremony were they gave me my American Citizenship. I'm really happy about it and thankful for my family who was there today to support me. After the ceremony we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory to eat lunch and then we went home. I also want to take this time to say happy birthday to Robin because today is her birthday and she still got up really early to come support me at the ceremony. I love you Robin.

Estoy re feliz de decir que hoy, el 21 de Mayo, 2008, se termino mi batalla con inmigraciones. Hoy gracias a la ayuda de las oficinas del senador Hatch pude tener mi ceremonia donde me dieron mi ciudadania estadounidense. Estoy re feliz y agradecida a mi familia que estuvo ahi hoy para apoyarme. Despues de la ceremonia fuimos a comer a un restaurante de pastas y despues nos fuimos a casa. Tambien queria tomar este tiempo para decirle a Robin 'Feliz Cumpleaños' porque hoy es su cumple y ella se levanto re temprano para venir a la ceremonia. Te amo Robin.

A Hot Day / Un Dia Caluroso

Today John and Lili played outside with Meili and Sophi in their pool while Sidra and I sat down under the shade and talked about how uncomfortable we feel being big and pregnant. The kids had a great time playing in the water and eating some grapes. John didn't like the pool that much but he liked playing with the hose. I sure will miss spending time with the Morrises after we move. We love you guys and we are so happy we live next to each other.

Hoy John y Lili jugaron afuera con Meili y Sophi en la pileta mientras que Sidra y yo nos sentamos en la sombra quejandonos de lo incomodas que nos sentimos estando tan grandes del embarazo. Los chicos se divirtieron mucho jugando y comiendo uvas. A John no le gusto la pileta mucho pero le encanto jugar con la manguera. De seguro voy a extrañar el pasar tiempo con los Morris despues de que nos mudamos. Los amamos y estamos re felices de vivir al lado de ustedes.

Goodbye Nelson, Lorena, Melanie and Axel

Today, Nelson, Lorena, Melanie and Axel left to go to Texas for Nelson's internship with Dell. They stayed with us from May 1st until today. We are really going to miss you guys. We are so glad for the time we could spend with you while both of our families were here in Provo. Here are some pictures of the last Saturday we spent together at Rock Canyon Park and also me cutting Melanie's hair. We had a great time! We love you guys.

Hoy Nelson, Lorena, Melanie y Axel se fueron a Texas para la pasantia que Nelson va a hacer con Dell. Ellos se estuvieron quedando con nosotros desde el 1ro de Mayo hasta hoy. Los vamos a extrañar mucho. Estamos tan felices por el tiempo que pudimos pasar juntos aca en Provo desde que ustedes llegaron de Argentina. Aqui hay algunas fotos del ultimo sabado que pasamos en el parque Rock Canyon y tambien de mi cortandole el pelo a Melanie. La pasamos re bien. Los amamos!

Mother's Day / Dia De La Madre

Happy Mother's Day!!!! Today we went to Eden for Mother's Day. We had a really delicious dinner. For dessert we had some strawberries dipped in chocolate that I made. We had a good time and I actually took a nap while Mac took care of the kids. I hope you all had a great Mother's Day.

Feliz dia de la Madre! Hoy fuimos a Eden para festejar el dia de la Madre. Tuvimos una cena muy rica. De postre tuvimos frutillas bañadas en chocolate que hice yo. La pasamos re bien y yo hasta dormi una siesta mistras Mac se ocupo de los chicos. Espero que todos hayas tenido un hermoso dia de la Madre!

I love this last picture. Lili was playing with a doll that has these glasses and she tried them on. Doesn't she look like the grandma of Tweety from Looney Tunes? Thanks Mac for snapping this picture.

35 Weeks / 35 Semanas

Here I am. Still pregnant. 5 more weeks and the baby will be here. I can't wait!

Aqui estoy. Todavia embarazada. 5 semanas mas y el bebe ya estara aqui. No veo la hora de que llegue.

Pedicure / Pedicura

These are my feet. Today I went to get a pedicure. My nails were so long and I couldn't cut them because of my growing belly. It was so nice to be pampered!! This was actually an early mother's day gift. Thank you Mac!!


Estos son mis pies. Hoy fui a arreglarme los pies. Tenia las uñas re largas y no me las podia cortar debido a mi pansa. Que alivio! Esto fue un regalo adelantado del dia de la madre. Gracias Mac!!

Nikki and Emily

Nikki and Emily came over to our house for dinner today after Women's Conference at BYU. We had some tacos and some strawberries dipped in chocolate. We had a great time. I love the picture of John eating a strawberry and saying cheese. Thanks Nikki and Emily for coming over it was really fun having you over.
