Mac spent the las 4 days in California because he went for a conference where he presented a paper he wrote for one of his classes here at BYU. Me and the kids missed him a lot. We are happy that you are back home.
Mac paso los ultimos 4 dias en California porque fue a una conferencia donde presento una de sus monografias que escribio para una de sus clases aca en BYU. Los chicos y yo lo extrañamos mucho. Estamos contento de que estas devuelta en casa.

Today for Lili's birthday we woke her up and John gave her a present which was a Curious George stuffed animal. Then we gave her a baby doll crib that Mac and I made. Actually we bought it at a yard sale and Mac helped me with sanding and painting it. And I made the bedding. After that, we gave Lili breakfast and we sang the happy birthday song. I took Lili to get her first professional haircut as you can see in the before and after pictures. Grandma Colleen came over to visit Lili and gave her the dress she is wearing in the picture. I have never seen a kid get so excited about getting clothes. As soon as Lili opened the present, she took all her clothes off and put on the dress, the socks, and the hat. After Grandma left I wanted to take Lili to a park to play or something but it was really cold and windy outside so we ended up going to Carls Jr with Lorena, Melanie and Axel. Lili and the kids had a lot of fun playing there. After that we came home where Mac was taking care of John because John has been sick since yesterday. I think Lili had a pretty good day today. We love you LILI!!!
Hoy por el cumpleaños de Lili a despertamos y John le dio un regalo que es el muñeco de Curioso Jorge. Despues le dimos una cunita para su bebe que Mac y yo hicimos. Bueno en realidad compramos la cuna en una feria Americana y la arreglamos. Mac me ayudo con el trabajo de la pintura y yo hizo el juego de sabanas con la chichonera y la mantita. Depues le dimos el desayuno y le cantamos el feliz cumpleaños. Despues la lleve a Lili a una peluqueria por primera vez para que le corten el pelo como pueden ver en la foto el antes y el despues. La abuela Colleen vino a visitar a Lili y le trajo el vestido que Lili tiene puesto en la foto. Les digo que nunca vi una chico tan contento y emosionado al recibir ropa de regalo. En cuanto Lili abrio el regalo se saco toda la ropa y se puso el vestido las medias y el gorro. Despues de que la abuela se fue queria llevar a Lili a un parque para que jugara pero hacia tanto frio y tanto viento que terminamos llendo a Carl's Jr que tienen un pelotero gigante para los chicos. Lorena, Melanie y Axel vinieron tambien. La pasaron re bien jugando ahi. Despues de ahi vinimos a casa. Mac estaba en casa cuidando de John porque desde ayer que John esta enfermo. Me parece que Lili la paso muy bien hoy. Te amamos LILI!!!
My parents left today. It was so nice to have them here. We had a really good time. Thanks mami and papi for all that you always do for us. We will miss you.

Today we went to eat at Aaron Dalton's parents' house. The last time I saw Aaron's father was like 15 years ago when he went to pick up Aaron in Argentina when he finished his mission. We had a really good dinner and a really good time chatting and catching up. We also had a little incident where Lili broke one of Aaron's mom's decorative eggs from Germany. We felt really bad about it. Luckily, Aaron's mom is traveling to Germany soon and so she will be able to replace the egg that Lili broke. Anyway, thanks Aaron for inviting us over.
Hoy fuimos a comer a la casa de los padres de Aaron Dalton. La ultima vez que vi a su padre fue como 15 años atras cuando fue a buscar a Aaron al final de su mision. Comimos una cena muy rica y la pasamos re bien hablando y poniendonos al dia. Tambien tuvimos un pequeño percanse porque Lili rompio un huevo de decoracion que esta todo tallado de Alemania de la madre de Aaron. No sentimos muy mal por eso. Afortunadamente la mama de Aaron va a estar viajando a Alemania pronto asi que va a poder remplazar el huevo. De cualquier manera gracias Aaron por invitarnos.
Today we had a birthday party for Lili. It was actually a birthday/get together party. This is because my parents are leaving on Monday, and so they won't be here for Lili's birthday. We had a lot of people and kids and that is why we didn't have it at our place. We had the birthday party at my cousin's multipurpose building. Thank you Nelson and Lorena for getting the place for us. We had some yummy food and desserts, a piñata, a fun game, and a birthday cake. Lili had a lot of fun and she got a lot of presents. Thank you everyone for coming and for the gifts.
Hoy tuvimos una fiesta de cumpleaños para Lili. Bueno enrealidad fue una fiesta de cumpleaños y despedida para mis padres. Como mis padres se van el Lunes no van a estar para el cumple de Lili. Vino un monton de gente y chicos y por eso no lo hicimos en casa. Lo hicimos en un salon de donde vive mi primo Nelson. Gracias Nelson y Lorena por encargarse de pedir el lugar por nosotros. Tuvimos una comida muy rica, postre, una piñata, el juego del paquete y torta de cumpleaños. Lili se divirtio un monton y tambien recibio un monton de regalos. Gracias a todos por venir y por los regalos.

Today my parents, the kids, and I went to BYU campus to meet a professor (Frederick Williams) who was born in Argentina while his parents were mission presidents there. My grandma Eleonora (my dad's mom) worked for Dr. William's father in the mission office before she married my grandpa. My parents talked to him on the phone and they arranged to meet him at his office. While my parents were in his office I stayed in the hallway with the kids because they were getting too wiggly in the office. As you can see in the first picture Lili is playing with a little mirror. After playing with it for awhile she broke the cover and I happened to catch her face just after she broke it. She was really sad. John was just hanging out in the stroller.
Hoy mis padres, los chicos y yo fuimos a BYU para encontrarnos con un profesor (Frederic Williams) que nacio en Argentina mientras sus padres estaban como presidentes de mision en Argentina. Mi abuela Eleonora (la mama de mi papa) todavia no estaba casada en ese entonces y trabajaba en las oficinas de la mision. Mis padres hablaron con el por telefono y arreglaron para encontrarse en su oficina. Mientras que mis padres estaban en la oficina yo me fui a caminar con los chicos en el pasillo porque estaban demasiado inquietos en la oficina. Como pueden ver en la primer foto Lili esta jugando con un espejito. Despues de estar jugando con el por un ratito le rompio la tapa y justo estaba sacando fotos y alcanse a sacarle una foto con su cara despues de que lo rompio. Ella se puso re mal de que rompio el espejo. John estaba tranquilito en el carrito.
What a great weekend. My parents, Mac, and I stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Salt Lake City 2 blocks from the Conference Center. We stayed there from Friday night to Sunday morning. We left the kids with Grandma and Grandpa Wilson. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! We couldn't have done it without you. On Saturday we went to both sessions and inbetween we ate at the Church Cafeteria with my uncle, aunt, and cousins. While the men were at the Priesthood Session, my mom, my aunt, and my female cousins went to "Ladies Night" at Deseret Book where we got a free book from President Hinckley called "One bright Shining Hope". After that my mom and I went back to the hotel to relax. On Sunday we went to both sessions again and ate at the Church Cafeteria again. After the second session Mac and I drove to Eden to pick up the kids and my parents stayed at the hotel until Monday. It was a really nice weekend and we really enjoyed it. Thanks mami and papi for the stay at the hotel.
Que buen fin de semana. Mis padres, Mac y yo nos quedamos en el hotel Radisson en Salt Lake City a 2 cuadras del Centro de Conferencia. Nos quedamos ahi desde el viernes hasta el domingo. Otra vez dejamos a Lili y John con los abuelos Wilson. Muchas gracias por cuidar a los chicos. No podriamos haberlo hecho sin la ayuda de ustedes. El sabado fuimos a las dos sesiones y entre medio de las sesiones comimos en la cafeteria de la Iglesia con mi tio, tia y primos. Mientras los hombres fueron a la reunion del sacerdocio, mi mama, mi tia, mis primas y yo fuimos a "The ladies night" en Deseret Book donde nos dieron un libro gratis del Presidente Hinckley que se llama "One Bright Shining Hope". Despues de ahi mi mama y yo nos volvimos al hotel para relajarnos. El domingo fuimos a las dos sesiones y denuevo comimos en la cafeteria de la iglesia. Despues de la segunda sesion Mac y yo nos fuimos a Eden para buscar a los chicos y mis padres se quedaron en el hotel hasta el lunes. Realmente fue un fin de semana re lindo y lo re disfrutamos. Gracias mami y papi por la estadia en el hotel.
This is Adriana my seminary teacher from Argentina. She and her husband came for General Conference too. Let me tell you how I found her at Conference. On Saturday after the first session was over Mac and I were standing inside the Conference Center and all of a sudden I saw her walking up the stairs and she was coming in my direction and I said.. Adriana?! We both hugged each other and cried. I love Adriana. She wasn't only my seminary teacher but my friend, my mentor, etc, etc. She has had such a great influence in my life and I will always be grateful for her example.
Esta es Adriana mi maestra de seminario de Argentina. Ella y su esposo vinieron tambien para la conferencia General. Dejenme contarles como fue que la vi. El Sabado despues de que la primera sesion termino, Mac y yo estabamos parados adentro del Centro de Conferencia y de repente la vi a ella caminando y estaba viniendo hacia donde yo estaba y dije:- Adriana?! Nos abrazamos y lloramos. Amo a Adriana. No solamente fue mi maestra de seminario sino que tambien mi amiga, mi mentor, etc, etc. Ella a tenido una gran influencia en mi vida y siempre estare agradecida a ella por su ejemplo.
Well, we made a decision. We are moving to New Jersey. Yesterday was a big day for us because we had to respond to Rutgers. We are really excited and at the same time sad to leave Utah and our family and friends. We wanted to share the news with everyone so now you all know where we are heading. We will be moving sometime in August this year.
Bueno hemos tomado una decision y es que nos vamos a mudar a New Jersey. Ayer fue un gran dia para nosotros ya que teniamos que darle una respuesta a la Universidad. Estamos muy contentos pero a la vez triste de mudarnos de Utah, dejar nuestra familia y amigos. Queriamos compartir esta noticia con todos ustedes asi que ahora ya saben a donde nos vamos. Nos estaremos mudando en agosto de este año.
Today my parents got here from Argentina. They came for General Conference and, of course, to visit us. They will be staying with us while they are here. We are really excited. We love having them here.
Hoy llegaron mis padres. Ellos vinieron para la Conferencia General y por supuesto para visitarnos a nosotros. Se van a estar quedando con nosotros. La verdad es que estamos re contentos. Nos encanta tenerlos aca.
