Lili's Birthday / Cumpleaños de Lili

Today for Lili's birthday we woke her up and John gave her a present which was a Curious George stuffed animal. Then we gave her a baby doll crib that Mac and I made. Actually we bought it at a yard sale and Mac helped me with sanding and painting it. And I made the bedding. After that, we gave Lili breakfast and we sang the happy birthday song. I took Lili to get her first professional haircut as you can see in the before and after pictures. Grandma Colleen came over to visit Lili and gave her the dress she is wearing in the picture. I have never seen a kid get so excited about getting clothes. As soon as Lili opened the present, she took all her clothes off and put on the dress, the socks, and the hat. After Grandma left I wanted to take Lili to a park to play or something but it was really cold and windy outside so we ended up going to Carls Jr with Lorena, Melanie and Axel. Lili and the kids had a lot of fun playing there. After that we came home where Mac was taking care of John because John has been sick since yesterday. I think Lili had a pretty good day today. We love you LILI!!!

Hoy por el cumpleaños de Lili a despertamos y John le dio un regalo que es el muñeco de Curioso Jorge. Despues le dimos una cunita para su bebe que Mac y yo hicimos. Bueno en realidad compramos la cuna en una feria Americana y la arreglamos. Mac me ayudo con el trabajo de la pintura y yo hizo el juego de sabanas con la chichonera y la mantita. Depues le dimos el desayuno y le cantamos el feliz cumpleaños. Despues la lleve a Lili a una peluqueria por primera vez para que le corten el pelo como pueden ver en la foto el antes y el despues. La abuela Colleen vino a visitar a Lili y le trajo el vestido que Lili tiene puesto en la foto. Les digo que nunca vi una chico tan contento y emosionado al recibir ropa de regalo. En cuanto Lili abrio el regalo se saco toda la ropa y se puso el vestido las medias y el gorro. Despues de que la abuela se fue queria llevar a Lili a un parque para que jugara pero hacia tanto frio y tanto viento que terminamos llendo a Carl's Jr que tienen un pelotero gigante para los chicos. Lorena, Melanie y Axel vinieron tambien. La pasaron re bien jugando ahi. Despues de ahi vinimos a casa. Mac estaba en casa cuidando de John porque desde ayer que John esta enfermo. Me parece que Lili la paso muy bien hoy. Te amamos LILI!!!
