Yummy Treats / Masitas Dulces

Sorry if after seeing this post it makes you want to eat chocolate. I don't know why but lately I've been making treats, not because I want to eat them but just for the fun of it. I've been having so much fun making them and inventing new things. Don't be surprised if you see another post involving some sort of treats invention.

Perdon si estas fotos les da ganas de comer chocolate. No se porque pero ultimamente he estado haciendo cosas dulces, no porque las quiero comer pero si no porque me gusta hacerlo. Me he estado divirtiendo mucho y disfrutadolo mientras las hago e invento nuevas cosas. No se sorprendan si ven mas fotos con otras cosas dulces.

John's First Steps / Los Primeros Pasos De John

Today at 12 months and 24 days John took his first steps. Mac was getting home from school and as he open the door to come inside, John, Lili and I were in the living room and as soon as John saw Mac he took one step towards him. We all started to scream and John got really scared and started to cry. Then we tried to make him walk but the above video is all we got. I guess John had been waiting for Mac all day long to try his new trick. Good job John!!

Hoy a los 12 meses y 24 dias John dio sus primeros pasos. Mac estaba llegando a casa de la escuela y mientras el abria la puerta para entrar en la casa, John, Lili y yo estabamos en el living y apenas John vio a Mac camino un paso hacia el. Todos empezamos a gritar y John se re asusto y empezo a llorar. Despues tratamos de hacerlo caminar pero esto es todo lo que pudimos obtener. Me parece que John estuvo esperando a Mac todo el dia para mostrar su nueva habilidad. Muy bien John!!

24 Weeks / 24 Semanas

24 weeks and straight hair. Nothing new or different from last week's picture.

24 semanas y pelo lacio. Nada nuevo o diferente desde mi foto de la ultima semana.

Valentine's Day / Dia De San Valentin

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Here are some pictures of the lovely day we had. Of course I had to decorate the apartment. I love decorating the apartment for special occations. I woke up really early to make a special breakfast for Mac and myself. Mac had to go to school and so I just wanted to have a small moment to ourselves. I made some homemade crepes filled with Dulce de Leche, strawberries, pineapple, whipped cream and chocolate syrup. We had some hot chocolate with marshmallows on top to drink. It was really good! As soon as we were ready to start eating, the kids woke up so it ended up being breakfast for 4. Of course we still had a great time. Before Mac left for school we gave the kids each a gift, which was a book for each of them. I gave Mac a jar full of Hershey's Kisses and Hugs to take to his office and he gave me a Book on CD from Virginia Hinckley called A Heart Like His: Making Space for God's Love in Your Life and I love it. In the afternoon I decided to make some treats for Mac which you can see in the pictures. Later that day we got a package in the mail for Lili and John from Grandma Colleen. Thanks Grandma! The kids were really excited to open the box. They each got a valentine and a stuffed animal. After dinner we put John to sleep and Lili, Mac and I wached the movie Ratatouille. We loved it! I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day.

Feliz dia de San Valentin para todos! Aqui hay algunas fotos de nuestro maravilloso dia. Por supuesto tuve que decorar el apartamento. Me encanta decorarlo para ocaciones especiales. Esta mañana me levante bien temprano para preparar un desayuno especial para Mac y yo. Mac se tenia que ir a la escuela asi que queria tener un tiempo para nosotros. Hice unos crepes caseros que los rellene con dulce de leche, frutillas, anana, crema y chocolate. Para tomar tuvimos chocolate caliente con marshmallow. Todo estaba riquisimo!! Cuando estabamos a punto de empezar a comer los chicos se despertaron asi que termino siendo un desayuno para 4. Por supuesto igual la pasamos re bien. Antes de que Mac se fuera a la escuela le dimos un libro a Lili y otro a John como regalo. Yo le di a Mac un recipiente de vidrio lleno de chocolate para que se lleve a su oficina y el me regalo un libro que viene grabado en un CD de Virginia Hinckley que se llama: A Heart Like His: Making Space for God's Love in Your Life y me re gusta. Por la tarde hice unas masitas casera para Mac que pueden ver en las fotos. Mas tarde recibimos en el correo un paquete para Lili y John de su abuela Colleen! Gracias abuela! Los chicos estaban re contentos abriendo el paquete. Cada uno recibio una tarjetita y un peluche. Despues de la cena pusimos a John a dormir y Lili, Mac y yo miramos la pelicula Ratatouille. Nos encanto!! Espero que todos hayas tenido un hermoso dia de San Valentin!

Tea Party / Jugando Al Te

This is Lili and John having a Tea Party in their room. They were having a lot of fun. I love when the kids can entertain themselves. In the last picture Lili is showing her apron that I'm really proud to say that I made it myself. I love these kids! Sometimes they are a lot of work but I can't imagine how life would be without them.

Esta es Lili y John jugando al te en su dormitorio. La estaban pasando muy bien. Me encanta cuando los chicos pueden entreterse a si mismo. En la ultima foto Lili esta mostrando su delantal que estoy contenta de decir que lo hice yo con mis propias manos. Amo a esto niños! A veces son un monton de trabajo, pero no me podria imaginar mi vida sin ellos.

Sledding / Deslizandonos

Today we went sledding at Rock Canyon Park. It was the first time for Lili, John and MYSELF, but not for Mac. How embarassing! I've been living here in Utah for almost 7 years but I had never gone sledding. I know I'm pregnant and maybe shouldn't be doing things like this but this might be the last winter in Utah or for awhile so I couldn't leave Utah without going sledding. It was really fun and Lili loved it. Lili really is not afraid of anything. John didn't like it that much but maybe he'll enjoy it better when he gets older. We all had a great time.

Hoy fuimos a deslisarnos en la nieve en un parque que se llama Rock Canyon Park. Fue la primera vez para Lili, John y yo (no para Mac). Ya se que verguenza. He estado viviendo aca en Utah por casi 7 años y nunca fui a deslizarme en la nieve. Ya se que estoy embarasada y no deberia estar haciendo esto ahora pero este puede ser el ultimo invierno que estamos aqui en Utah o por lo menos por un tiempo y no me podia ir sin haberme deslizado en la nieve. Fue re divertido y a Lili le encanto. La verdad es que Lili no le tiene miedo a nada. A John no le gusto mucho pero talvez lo disfrute cuando sea mas grande. Igualmente la pasamos re bien.

23 Weeks / 23 Semanas

This is me at 23 weeks. At this time I'm enjoying this stage of pregnancy because I am passed the sickness part and I'm not too big either. I know I won't be saying the same thing in a couple of months so I'll enjoy it while it last.

Esta soy yo the 23 semanas. En este momento estoy disfrutando esta etapa del embarazo porque ya pase el tiempo de sentirme mal y tampoco tengo mucha pansa todavia. Ya se que no voy a estar diciendo lo mismo en un par de meses pero lo disfrutare mientras dura.
